I just saw the movie "Milk", and I thought that the entire thing was absolutely fantastic.
I loved Sean Penn's role, James Franco's role, and everyone else was fantastic in the movie.
It shocked me when, at the beginning of the movie, it showed a public announcement declaring that Harvey Milk had been shot and killed.
I got to tell you, I can't believe how stupid people are. How idiotic they can be, you know?
It's like, if you don't like gays, then that's fine, but keep it to yourself, you know?
And, I think it's retarded when Christians kill gays because "Being gay is a sin".

I saw like the first 45 minutes, but I got tired of watching guys kiss. Sean Penn didn't strike me as such a great actor in the movie, I mean he's tremendous but this was one of his more weaker roles.

Never saw the movie...but I have to stick with the comments of some dudes that say that religious extremists doesnt represent all of the ones in that religion.

Me,being catholic, I dont care if someone's gay, or if he has buttsex,or anything. I do believe that God is so fucking powerful and shit, that he aint gonna deny someone from heaven just for his sexual and emotional preference. I? believe he rather look over if you were a good human being.

And I think that almost all of us are smart enough to know what does it mean to be a good or a bad person ;D

True, I hated that "cutesy" stereotypical gay voice he put on for this role. I watched a documentary on the real Harvey Milk a few weeks later, and he didn't really speak like that at all.

But I did like this movie.

Anyways, the most probable reason why Dan White killed Harvey Milk was not because he was gay, but because he didn't support the pay raise for the supervisors at the time. Also, remember Dan White killed the Mayor of San Francisco (George Moscone) too.
