.... BORED BY DOOM?!?!

it's DOOM! How can you be bored by Doom, harbinger of all FPS that was to come?
You mean, the downfall of video gaming? Causing endless even more boring sequels of the same shitty graphics (yes, they where shitty when the game hit the shelfs), boring "storylines" and boring gameplay?*
(blink, blink).... You heretical bastich!
It's not Doom's fault that many of the knockoffs are boring sequels. And the ones I mentioned, the three main FPSes to follow Doom, are all great games, so... they don't resemble that comment, at least. #;-}>
Oh yes, it's easy to get bored of Doom, mostly because I get motion sick if I play it any longer than 5 minutes. -.-
Is this part true, at least?
Interesting... maybe it's your monitor's fault, or how close you sit to it.
* just kidding here by the way. Actually, I enjoyed playing "Restistance: Fall of Men" together with my gf and before that I enjoyed playing Quake 3 together with my friends in network matches. Funny thing is that I wasn't that bad either, even though I had absoluetly no experience in those games. But in 1 on 1 matches I never got a single kill against my friends. >_>
Back to Resistance: It has pretty good graphics and I don't get motion sick even if I play it for 2 hours straight.
Yes, I saw the asterix, but you still typed that shit, man. HOW COULD YOU. #;-}>
I wouldn't know anything about Resistance as it's on the silly ol' expensive PS3 I refuse to get, but from what I've seen of it, it looks okay. Killzone 2 looks like it could be fun, too.
What about Resistance doesn't get you motion-sick, anyway?
Does Quake 3 get you motion-sick?
Back on topic: I would like to try and get more medals on Drop the bomb until a new medal game comes out. But I have to study for examns again, so not much time to waste on medal games. :(
And I think I only have medals to gain that are purely based on luck and those are no fun. :/
Eh, I've only gotten medals on 3 NG games so far. I'll get around to expanding my medal game horizones sooner or later. At least it's more fun than reviewing them. #;-}>
