Nice to see that the requirements have lifted to exactly 10,000. I´m currently at 9,580 points so I´m still a bit off, but I´m getting closer. I could go for the medals in Drop Da Bomb to get on here, but I don´t like that game unfortunatly.

Thanks for the congrats there buddy and I wish all good luck on passing me when it comes to the almighty medals of doom. Oh and the fact that you need 10000 points to be in the top 50 is actually quite fascinating seeing already on how much our system has improved.

No surprise there after he said he'd be away from his computer for a couple weeks.

I know, I have barely enough time to get on once in a while and post, but the internet connection here at the hotel sucks and I can't download any games.

It'll be interesting to see how far down I can fall on the next update, cause I doubt I'll get any points this week. Then just watch the massive leap once I get back to playing next Tuesday. I'll expect at least a 40 points leap hehe.

Well I'm glad I finally made it on to the top 50 list. I've been listed as high as 42, but as far as I know I've never been high enough when the list was tabulated, as others have passed me at the time. Imagine how well I'd be doing if I had any medals in Sonny or Doom, and more than 5 or 6 in Portal Defenders! Oh, if I only had the time...

merh im giving medal games a break... dont know if i will be in the top 30 next update... i might.. all depends on how i spend my time... after that stupid medal game (you know which one) i lost the will to carry on with the pointless grind... so im going to carry on playing as i did (before medals) so i will be going at a far slower rate... with the new art portal and all its sapping alot of my attention... who knows where il be in the near future :P

With all these crap medal games coming out lately, I don't know if I can keep up with the medal earning much.

that and the impossible medals for Seed of Destruction just makes me lose faith in this medal system. By the time the testing gets done, every game developer would want to have medals in his/her game making it impossible to keep up with them and maintain a proper life.

Also, i see that the minimum medal score to get on the list is 10k :( I guess I gotta play doom, drop the bomb and alkie kong 2. But everytime I play doom I don't know what the fuck I should do, and it gets boring, and then I give up.

Agreed, I think Medals should be regulated. I know it kinda goes against the everything by everyone code, but not entirely. I think they should rework the system and have games be thuroughly tested before they get released with medals. I forget which game it was, but it had a button at the end that rechecked all your medals to ensure your account got them. That was a great idea.

If someone spends more than 5 seconds but less than 12 seconds in the instructions, they won't get either. And since there's no going back for one or the other, that's scratched.

That's true, but I never looked through all of his medals before so I wouldn't have seen that. It's odd, but then again not impossible. After all if he chose to go straight from easy to the hardest difficulty, then once he did that the other two would be much easier.
Wish I had slightly more time myself to work on medals but I probably won't for a while.

I've played some of these medal games like three times in a row to get all the medals because I kept on deciding to change accounts. lol I can own Darnell's Recount in like 30 minutes and I got the You must be cheating in less than five minutes.

Only 2000 points left till I go into the 10,000's

same shit: when i star playing doom, it gets boring. i just haven't played drop the bomb.

Look, I know it's just the shareware version (i.e. only the first episode, no 2nd or 3rd ones) on NG, plus it's hard to play with the default controls (I switched 'em back to how I used to Doom back in the 90s), but...

it's DOOM! How can you be bored by Doom, harbinger of all FPS that was to come? Inspiration for countless Quakes and Unreals and Half-Lifes and various other series to come? My god. ;_;
