Hey everyone before i start rambling on, there's one thing you should know
THIS IS NOT A COLLAB ABOUT BRAD BORNE'S FANCY PANTS ADVENTURES
now that i've gotten that off my chest let's get started.

okay this is a lemon demon collab. lemon demon is a band who do some pretty wicked songs (in my opinion) and i've always wanted to do a series of collabs off of their songs.

this song we're going to be using today is Fancy Pants Manifesto

i've got the lyrics and parts all lines up down there but before we go over that, lets have some specs:

background: white (draw your own on a different layer)
size: 550 X 400 (default)
FPS: 30
MUST BE IN FLASH 8 FORMAT OR I CAN'T GET IT
co-authors will be determined by quality, or if someone does some background work such as menu or programming.
due date: May 25th (can be pushed back or forward depending on parts recieved)
I'm looking for quality here. if it was a collab about anything, i would accept anything, but since this is a music video, only a certain amount of people can join. if you don't think you're good enough, try anyways, and we'll decide whether or not it's good.
by "we" i don't mean me and my friends, i mean whoever's participating in the collab. if i get a lot of people in the collab posting in the thread that yours aint good, you better improve or it's not in.

you have two months, so GET TO WORK! and take your time on it. i don't want a bunch of animations that were made in 10 minutes.
quality means no sticks. also no nudity, violence is okay, just so long as it's comical. i'm looking for something funny here guys, not something serious. though it can be serious in a comical way.

post that you want to join, don't just send something to me. if you don't want it made public, PM me.
you can take on multiple parts, so long as you can handle it.

please put your entire flash in a movieclip when you send it to me, and please label your parts with your name, such as FLUFFKOMIX_JOEARM etc etc
post previews of your work every now and then. this is not for our sake, but for yours. this way, we can give you things you can improve on, scrap it if we decide its not a good idea, etc.

you get three strikes and you're out. these strikes are counted when any of the following happens:
start flaming
continue flaming
feeding the flames
made preview with wrong specs or inappropriate (nudity) content
asking for co-author even though you've been reminded you're not in the collab
persistently asking "why am i not in the collab? my part's good enough!" etc

OH! almost forgot, here's where you can hear the entire thing. it's not the exact same version, but it gives you a good idea. the only difference as far as i can tell (other then quality) is the fading in at the beginning and a different bunch of weird mumblings at the end.

Read the new collab rules you need a BA of at least 3.5 AND a solo submission of 3.5, which you have, but you don't seem to have any BA...

a quick check of his three highest scoring flashes:
3.54 + 4.03 + 4.06 = 11.63
11.63 / 3 = 3.8766666666666666
Just because your ba doesn't show when you search the authors name, doesn't mean that they don't have one.

Omg is part 8 taken? Ive loved this song, and the only casulty we kill is time is something i think about all the time. Ill work on something soon!

Bump, animators should join and have some fun! Ive been having a somewhat busy but relaxing spring break, going to work on two games to hopefully finish with some guy, and maybe work on this bit by bit, after those two is another =x .... I hope to get around to this soon!
