Were these police officers using excessive tasering or can this happen from very little tasering? What kind of pussy cops can't subdue a 15 yearold boy without having to taser him anyway?

It is highly likely there wasn't excessive tasering and it was just a freak accident. If police feel vulnerable of cause they have the right to use non-lethal force.

It saddens me when people say "why did he use his baton/taser/mace/pepper spray when any other person would think it beyond reasonable care?"

If this can happen from very little tasering then maybe they need to reconsider the taser as an option.

Well, I mean unless they were constantly firing it at him I don't see what else could explain it. I've never heard of anybody dying from being tasered before.

That's the problem with stun guns and the like. People think they're non-lethal. They are "less-lethal". They can still kill, but so many individuals have a really hard time wrapping their heads around it.

Most likely I can bet it'll turn out that the boy had a heart condition or something similar that was aggitated by the tasers. It's unfortunate that something like this would happen, but if you know the cops have tasers don't be an idiot and try to fight them when you know you're vulnerable.

He attacked the cops and they used a non lethal force method, his death was accidental.

The fact that they called medical assistance immediately also shows the only intent here was to defend themselves.

The police did nothing wrong, this kid should have been disciplined more as a child.

Tasers are NOT "non-lethal" They are "reduced lethality weapons" meaning while it's less likely they can still kill, they ARE still weapons. Most people tend to forget that. I'm guessing either one of these there things happened:

1) The kid had some sort of physical condition that made him so vulnerable that a taser easily killed him
2) The kid was so worked up that his body just couldn't take the trauma of being tasered on top of it all or
3) The cops sat there and tasered him repeatidly until he died from it

I'm gonna haev to say 1 or 2 is more likely as to me somethign would've been done about it before 3 could occur, but I could be wrong.
