There are many ways to use tech gadgets in times when its not the best time too.
Example, to pester my Girlfriend I set a route to her house with my gps when we aren't but a few feet away and I mark every place we stop (stores, lakes, other houses .ect). It bother the hell out of her.
Other examples can be when you text people on your cell phone after a dramatic experience.

Agreed. The only people who would be offended by a sting operation that catches child-predators are people with something to hide.
