Ive been working on one of my favorite 8-bit audios for a few months now, the sounds (i think) are great but it still sounds very... empty. Its made with WASP which doesnt having have much of an atmospheric effect and doesnt work well with most effects. any ideas?

Pads? Idk if that will work cuz ur doing 8 bit. I really dont know the rules of 8-bit but if its empty add some pads. If wasp doesnt have some pads, use sytrus.

WASP can do pads, its just that its monotonous, so its a constant. I didnt want to use any thing but WASP for this (exception being the percussion).

Do you mean monophonic?

try changing the panning of instruments to "broaden" the sound. Other than that, i'm not sure that you do much if you're trying to stay true to 8-bit.

You can always just use the limiter to add some extra "meat" to it
