A microphone? Just go down to your local electronics store. I picked a good one up for $15 last time I needed a microphone.

You COULD buy it online, but why bother? If it's something you can easily purchase locally you can save on shipping costs!

If you're in the UK there's a few on Play.com for under a fiver. Free shipping on anything from Play too, though I suggest just going to your nearest computer/electronics shop.

Any earphones! Microphones and headphones work in exactly the same way, just one is optimized for sound output and the other for sound input.

Just try it! But seriously, the sound quality is almost certainly going to be terrible. Just a cheap microphone at your local electronics store is easy and would be far better.

I use a "plantronics" microphone, and it works well for me.
