Now I really though it was cool that you could level up on newgrounds and gain better weapons but why can we not use them. Since the forms can render flash with out a pop up I believe that we should put in a battle system. Now lets say some guy made you mad why don't you just kick his butt well with this you could. Now power would be determined by what level and weapon so a level 10 would most likely win against a level 5 but the level 5 would have a small chance to win. When you want to challenge someone you must click a fight button next to this persons name to fight them and that person must agree. If this person accepts you go into a fight, weapons are drawn and they fight to the death. Now if you win you are awarded a a tag for an hour that you kicked that person behind and the loser would receive a tag of shame saying you kicked there butt. This is just an idea but would really like to see something like this I mean why get a chainsaw if you can not use it.

They can't even get the chat working right, I doubt they'll be able to rework the BBS inside out.
For some reason, this idea sounds actually pretty cool. Though it would seem to over-complicate the BBS, it's pretty relevant to this site and it's content. Because this is a flash games/animations site, and there already is ranks/levels, why not add some interactiveness? Anyway, I think that you should try posting it in the suggestion thread created by liljim so you can get some attention for it :).

I don't think he is talking about a super complicated system, just a cool animated feature to the BBS. You could just have a button for "Fight" and then if the other person accepts it would just have a randomized winner along with a cool animation. Or maybe a little more complicated than that, but it's fun to dream isn't it ;P?
That would be cool, like actually have an action fight of 2 weapons, and they could do more damage for each level.

It would mean all the people who were losing arguments would challenge to a fight in the hope they can resolve it there, making discussions shittier.

Well you must remember it takes years to get to a decent level so that would weed out most the little pricks that you talk about.

I think it's a cool idea but it's also kinda retarded.
'Cause first off, we level up by voting on a daily basis on flash movie's. What's the point in fighting each other if we can't level up off of each other after battle?
And a sticker for an hour? Please. That would be like getting acheivment's for day by playing those game's that have that feature.

Well I thought it would be cool if you could have a list on your profile that could list what people you beat and what people beat you. Now gaining exp points from battling could be abused so it should not be implemented.

I think that the bottom line is that it is a cool idea; it would add some fun and relevant interactivity to the BBS, however a good point had been made that it would take too long to get the ball rolling on it (not to mention coding it). However... I think that you should suggest it and see what happens -- your idea exactly might not get brought to life, but maybe something similar!
Now what if somebody made a beat 'em up game or online multiplayer fighting game where you used your level weapon to fight with.
