I have always hated them, their music is shit and then they tried brining in rap to it which made it even more shit.

I dont hate them, I quite like them. Their music isn't too bad to be honest. I just think most of their haters ar emainly bandwaggoners... Not all but most of them are.

I listened to them when I was 14. I have the first CD (Hybrid Theory). Then I got tired of it. A few years later, I found the songs in my computer and thought "OMG he sings like a 14 year old!"
And then I knew why I used to like them. But now I have a man's voice.

Yeah that's basically what I thought but people say their music has emo lyrics but when you think about it so do most of the songs in rock itself.

i like them. most people these days tend to hop on the bandwagon on what their friends like and don't like (also of what is expected by their group, seen, emo, punk, etc.)
if people just don't like them then that's alright, just don't hate them (and other things) just because you fee obligated to.

I think it is stupid to hate a band. If you like it enjoy the music and if you dont like it who cares. It doesnt make sense to discuss about musical taste, because people who dont like your music will never understand why you do. By the way I dont really like the last two albums of Linkin Park though I loved meteora and hybrid Theorie but I am unable to explain why.

I dislike Linkin park a lot, I've had many friends try to get me into them and I've never been able to, This doesn't mean that I don't like Nu-Metal though, I like Rage Against The Machine and Korn.

EMO?!?! Fucking hell, everything is Emo, now-a-days. I heard a guy shout "Megadeth are Emo!" on the bus in Camden Town the other day. People have no concept of anything. seriously, I don't actually get what "Emo" music is. Think about it, all music had some emotional value in it, from the song writer/performers. So, does that make ALL music EMO?

i love linkin park, but you see since the internet got popular people just decide to follow the band wagon, So you then get one person saying they dislike linkin park and the rest of the lemmings on the internet follow, If you like a band, don't ask why other people hate it, because they will never really tell you how they feel about it.
