Eh, you have a good argument, but you lack including that Sirtom93, a.k.a. the evil do-er that most citizines would be fearful of, was on this site. him being on this site could be enough to attack newgrounds for its community.

The news video had an image of sirtom's facebook on it, or MySpace, so this must be what they're assuming.

Anyone know if this is going to be aired on this evenings news, or perhaps any upcoming news? I'm flicking back from channel to channel, but nothing so far.

Well I do hate to admit it, but yeah NG is becoming more and more of social networking site. I mean there is the forum where I have met a couple of people already, the NG chat (whenever it comes out), and hell...later friends system thing. I mean those are some nice features but it slowly becoming...more like a myspace, and instead of a website clearly for flash.

It's a load of bullshit that they refered to Newgrounds as a social networking site.

You know why they did that? Because newgrounds has a load of violent shit on it that it is known for. They are in their own little fantasy world where anything with violent shit is the absolute evil that nothing good would ever come from. NG is known for The torture game, Jeff Weise, The Madness series, and other shit. However, they refer to it as social networking because they don't want their previous assumptions argued against. Good came from newgrounds, and in their little fantasy world nothing good can come from any violent media.

They should fucking get over themselves and stop living in that fucking little fantasy land. Either mention Newgrounds, don't mention it, or mention it with accurate terms. This is not a social networking site. A social networking site would be something like Facebook or Myspace.

Does it really matter? They didn't even mention Newgrounds in the article, and to be honest, the website name doesn't matter. The only important info is that someone phoned the police after reading something that sirtom posted.
