Here, I uploaded an Icon.
Look at how weird it looks.
All I did was created a picture within the stage, then I exported it as an image, and I kept all of the info to export it on default, so I kept 'Standard Colors', I kept 'Smooth', and everything else.
Then I browsed it in User Pictures, and double clicked it.

Check what format the image is in. I can't be too sure on the details, but I think exporting as a .png fixes that problem... I could be wrong though, just give it a try.

It has to be a .gif format.

My memory's a little fuzzy on this, but I feel as if the format doesn't matter as much as you'd think. Seriously, try uploading the .png (or any other file types for that matter) - if NG doesn't complain, you have nothing to worry about, and the worst that could happen is you waste time exporting files.

Otherwise, see if you have any programs other than flash that can convert the .png back into a .gif, adn upload that. If that doesn't work, I dunno what to do. sry. T_T

Do you think that Corel Painter Essentials 3 would work?
Or, Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0?
Can anyone else help me out, and tell me what program worked for you?

You used it to create the icons, or just to import them as a .png and export them as a .gif.
