umm.. i realy wanted to try flash but i have no idea where to get the tools and im not even sure if i can do it (im an expert at the timeline type things cuz i used to use endorphin wich is something ill explain in a later post) can someone tell me if theres anything i can get and i only have like 25 spare bucks to spend and i know thats not alot... i just wanted to see if im good at it and i also know that theres a verry small chance of me being even good enough to do blob things but i realy want to try...

$699. You can get a Educational edition ($299 I think), but it's illegal to make profit from that version.

hahahah $50 dont get your hopes up, its about $600 so get off your ass and get a job, but be sure to use atleast the slightest bit of grammar in your application. It might actually pay off :/ But the only free program i know of that outputs swf is pivot and one for games that exports exe is gamemaker, but they both suck. you wont find any for $25 so like i said, get a job.

That doesn't matter, just go get a weekend job, a cashier at a supermarket or something. Flash is an investment, but if you are skilled enough, you'll make a return on it.

I actually got mine at uber low price from an electronics shop near my house because I'm a good friend of the owner, however, if you don't have that luck (which is the big mayority of cases), I'd recommend you to use LiveSWF. It's what I used before migrating to flash 8 and finally CS4. The bad thing is you can't work on collabs because they're all made on .FLA files, however, you can make an account on that site and starts collabs there, the community is very united and helpful, just go to the "Downloads" Thread, there, just download it. Instead, if you want to use AS, I might recommend Flex.

I'd recommend going the other way round. Use LiveSWF until you get good with animation overall and then use the trial, then go back to LiveSWF until you have the money to buy Flash.
