Hello!
We're looking for a flash author to join our efforts down over at Dilogus : The Winds of War for some site work. Currently we require a lore map, something close to the vein of Diablo 3's Lore Map where essentially you just click on cities and parts of the map and information regarding them will appear.
Dilogus is a game built from the Cyrsis Engine, and some of the screenshots can be seen here
This is not a paying gig, none of us there are being paid for our efforts yet. We have seen attention from some rather exciting places regarding the project and things have been progressing smoothly for a good while now.
There is a good deal of flash work that needs to be done in the future. Being able to work with Flash ActionScript 2.0 and Scaleform optimization (.gfx format) is a big plus but right now our big priority is getting that lore part down.
For anybody interested please contact the group leader over at
- tripx [at] indigo-illusions [dot] com
or
- through NG
or me through Newgrounds PM system.
Thanks for your time!

Looks superb Maestro, if I could spare even a little time I would, but just way too busy to consider it. Good luck with the recruiting, although I have to say the lack of financial incentive will most likely put a few off.

Hey Denvish!
Yeah, I know not having it pay off the bat would be a turn off, still I wanted to try getting some people from NG before going other places. Obviously this project would be pretty good portfolio material since we do intend for a retail release for the project but I know how saying "we'll pay when we make money off it!" is so overdone, but sadly that's exactly all I we can do atm.

Wait...are you looking for someone to do THE lore map(with the art and all)? Or just the coding of the Lore Map?
Because, unless you want the information to be loaded from a file outside the flash, it sounds very simple.
I do think people (*coughmecough*) will get interested in doing that only for the "portfolio material".

I garauntee they expect the flash author to make the lore map as well. Good luck finding someone mistro. :[ I would ask to do it, but I have no experience with map-making.

not true :D! we actually have the map all drawn out and designed! We also have the information, we just need somebody to make the clicking work, and the thing to look respectable as it transitions information and the like. The map and other sensitive information understandably i'm not allowed to post up here for public view.

haha, well...I kinda like...don't have much of a "sample work" yet (just a bunch of random codes which don't do much by themselves alone)...But I can make something small to show you... :b
