No world changing events there.
True, but the BBC have done sort of follow-up articles on stuff like this before. You're probably right though, this incident is far too localised. On top of that, most follow-ups are on stuff that was successfully... or they're in London. The BBC are a major worldwide media outlet, but they do delve into the depths of British local life too, if only a little. People are talking about TV news now, which I find very unlikely, unless you're watching local Norfolk news.
Anyway, it's none of our concern. The hardest part is over, and it's destined to be another part of Newgrounds history to use against people who have only recently signed up and aren't in the know.
You know it will happen!

its okay to make jokes about it because the crisis was averted.
so now that the day is saved, its okay to be tasteless.

So he did intend to harm someone. Well done Newgrounds, you guys potentially saved some lives. =)

Apparently so, I spoke to a person and this was serious.

Actually, just because it's not a big deal in America doesn't mean it won't be big in the UK.

will anything like Fox or CNN report on it?
Doubt it'll even get on east anglian (norfolk area) tv.
I live around there, so I'll keep a look out on the news for you. Really don't think it'll get much attention though. Oh, and I watch GMTV in the morning for a few minutes as they do the news, so it may appear then.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/norfo lk/default.stm Maybe, top story.
Awesome, the news outlets are picking it up. I wonder which one of us is the "member of the public?"
Also, I'm just gonna post this TL;DR writeup on every page. :P

They really should have said "Members" instead of member. If they want to not name names then that's fine, but they should at least keep the story accurate. More than one person called the cops.
Haha, oh wow. Well I guess well done to deckhead and Rig for doing the honourable thing. I bet Norfolk police where confused when a Canadian (you are canadian Rig?) called them about a possible arson.
Now I fucking hate Sirtom93.
Just wanted to see if this story was worthy of being on the main news headlines page on the BBC website(no btw), and reading the headlines I discovered a very sad horrible story of animal cruelty, which I cried to while reading it. While I am aware that Sirtom didn't kill this animal, it's his fault for being such a little prick and trying to blow up people that my eyes were on this page in the first place!

The guy took it all in stride - very professional, he was.

Is NG actually being left out for a legal reason or because the media don't see it as important? Or is it because Tom and Wade didn't want it to be known. I was just curious that all of the articles say "a website"
