After looking through the first few pages something sirtom said reminded me about this topic he made a few days earlier about buying petrol. I don't know if it's been posted or if it even matters now but here it is http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/1038 714

No, then we could be the website that saved a high school.

Knowing the way the BBC do these smaller articles, they might very well update themselves when they have more information on how sirtom93 goes on. Reading even that small article honestly makes me even more thankful to guys like Mr. W. Fulp, Rig and deckheadtottie, among all the others that helped, not just the mods. On top of that, I'm thinking about sirtom93 will continue his life now. Maybe I'm too serious or whatever... I like to think we look after each other here, once you get past the macho nature of some of us anyway.

I think it's for the best that NG's name stays out of this one, to be honest. NG doesn't have the best track record for stuff like this, and the last thing any of the admins (or anyone else for that matter) need is another shitstorm over what NG may-or-may-not- have caused.

Just be quietly proud of your fellow NGers, and happy with the fact that this damn forum actually did something properly useful for once.

Or be quietly bitter about the lack of recognition; as long as you're quiet about it. ;P

Hahaha, oh, I'm going to Hell, especially after my last post.

I might not have laughed had I not seen a picture of sirtom93 beforehand, but seeing as I can associate it all... oh dear.

They wont. Only because you saw the whole thing happen does it seem like big news. Really its small.

If someone watches ITV, I'll do BBC? Quick, it's almost on.

Sigh, I could have been doing my psychology report.

Wowowow. There's a news article!

The youth's home address has been searched and a computer has been seized which is currently being analysed. Lol, I wonder how much porn they'll find.

Even with our track record, people quickly forget until the next big thing comes up. Maybe this will help us finally go back up the ladder. Until Fox News gets their hands on it, of course.

Actually, this could have been the closest thing to a school attack in Britain. A very big thing if you ask me, especially amidst the recent, unfortunate school shootings.

Really? America won't even care until at least 10 people get shot. Even then everyone forgets by the time a new episode of American Idol is on.

True, but the BBC have done sort of follow-up articles on stuff like this before. You're probably right though, this incident is far too localised. On top of that, most follow-ups are on stuff that was successfully... or they're in London. The BBC are a major worldwide media outlet, but they do delve into the depths of British local life too, if only a little. People are talking about TV news now, which I find very unlikely, unless you're watching local Norfolk news.

Anyway, it's none of our concern. The hardest part is over, and it's destined to be another part of Newgrounds history to use against people who have only recently signed up and aren't in the know.

You know it will happen!

Actually, just because it's not a big deal in America doesn't mean it won't be big in the UK.

I live around there, so I'll keep a look out on the news for you. Really don't think it'll get much attention though. Oh, and I watch GMTV in the morning for a few minutes as they do the news, so it may appear then.

Awesome, the news outlets are picking it up. I wonder which one of us is the "member of the public?"

Also, I'm just gonna post this TL;DR writeup on every page. :P

They really should have said "Members" instead of member. If they want to not name names then that's fine, but they should at least keep the story accurate. More than one person called the cops.
