I Don't think they are dangerous. If someone goes and kills someone, after they've been playing GTA. Its not fair to blame it on GTA. Thats just wrong!

I play alot.
I draw the line when it says "You have been online for 11 hours. We suggest you take a break."
I honestly don't believe it is the game's fault. Seriously, there hasto be something wrong with someone in the first place for them to play a game and get influenced to do something stupid.

Ha, I remember my palm bleeding after doing that fucking Shy Guy minigame in the first Mario Party game. That's probably a good sign that you've been playing a little too hard.

Getting 65 spins in ten seconds made it worth it, though.

I don't have a limit.
The only real danger a video game has caused is when I dropped an xbox on my foot.

must be in excess of 10 hours a day.

2. When do you draw the line (limit) when someone has played to much?

I don't draw the line I play for as long as I feel like and I would let others do the same.

3. Do you think that people can get hurt and sick becuase of videogames?

Only if you suffer from epilepsy and play a game that has a warning for it. Other than that no.

People are just trying to get you all to play less by saying it hurts you etc. its all a big fat lie. If you want to enjoy yourself enjoy yourself to hell with others they do the same.

1. How much du you play? Per day, about 3 hours
2. When do you draw the line (limit) when someone has played to much? I know someone played too much multiplayer when they try to attack someone without a username over their head.
3. Do you think that people can get hurt and sick becuase of videogames? I don't think so. If you know that it's just fake, then you're good. If you don't know that it's just pixels moving in an entertaining fashion, then you should either play minimal violence games (like LittleBigPlanet) or don't play them.

Hope I could help.

Videogames get a lot of abuse thrown at it; I'm just worried what the backlash will be on the new GTA DS game and Madworld on Wii - Two violent/ultra violent games which parody the very thing that they portray, on what was previously seen as a kiddy/Granny Games Console.

It is only like that because of all the Shovelware.

Here have been a couple of MMORPG deaths, especially in Korea: In the case of the person playing Starcraft gor 48hrs who died of dehydration. Very rarely has there been actually links between Video Games and Criminal Activity, outside of stealing consoles but this could be because they are trying to cash in a lot of money in the easiest way possible.

Just remember that even the people who say that video games are the spawn of Satan can be in the wrong aswell. Keith Vaz, MP, spent many years complaining about Rockstar, especially Manhunt and Bully. But he is now in trouble for "assisting his crooked friend in a court case". Sounds like he has been playing GTAIV for research.

This is a Prime piece of real estate below.

Hmmm, I'm doing pretty much the same thing for a school project. And here I thought I was being original...

I play about 3-4 hrs per day, more on weekends/holidays.

I draw the line when I don't feel like playing, and I usaually take short breaks to stretch my muscles every now and then.

All this demonizing of video games in the media, blaming most violent acts carried out by youths in particular on video games is pure crap. People who commit these acts have other problems.

Good luck with your report!

Well I usually play every weekend since I have homework, projects, etc. But i usually play for about 3 hours or so.

2. When do you draw the line (limit) when someone has played to much?

When you end up beating the game 5 times in a row without dying...although that is pretty awesome.

3. Do you think that people can get hurt and sick becuase of videogames?

Well if they are mentally unstable then I think they can be influenced by the games to do bad things.

2. When do you draw the line (limit) when someone has played to much?

Spending three hours (+) a day on them.

3. Do you think that people can get hurt and sick becuase of videogames?

This question is too vague to really answer.

Alot.

Over 24h without stopping is crossing the line.

3. Do you think that people can get hurt and sick becuase of videogames?

Depends how sane the person is. If somebody has trouble telling the difference between gaming and reality, obviously bad things can come from this.
