Seriously, though, I was wondering... should we do a scrapbook, guys? You know how I like to stuff scrapbooks (an interactive section of the flash with pictures and behind-the-scenes type info) into my major animations and all. I was thinking it could be cool if each participant wanted to write a few pages (a max of 3 or 5 or something) of back story on their work, some afterthoughts or whatever... I'd be willing to throw it in.

So do we want to do that? Is it still too early to decide? I dunno, it was on my mind so I figured I'd throw it out there. Keep me posted.

You can try, though the main lineup has already been chosen. If we like your idea, we'll let you join, but you'll just be in the credits and not co-authored. Just lettin' ya know.

Also, if any of you guys have any questions, comments, or concerns, be sure to either post em' here or pm me or Araelyn. I'd like to keep track of how each of us is progressing so we can get this done, and communication helps keep it alive. I'll probably send out a pm to each of you in about a week or so to see how everything's goin'.

Oh, another piece of news: Oney's in on it too. He won't be co-authored, but he wanted to do a part and we liked it, so he's gonna be in there too. BOYS AND GIRLSSSS.

also i would be working on mine but my mom's restricting my computer time to the bare minimum to make sure i'm completely caught up with my socials work before we go to mexico.

Also, your script doesn't have to be in french, it just should probably have a little french in it for the hell of it. Maybe like a phrase or something, like "C'EST NE PAS POSSIBLE" or "JE SUIS ANANAS" or something. You could ask someone who knows french about phrasing (like ThePortalGuru). You could either do it in french and supply english subtitles, or even just have it mostly in english with french subtitles, making perhaps only one or two characters speak it. As it stands, it'll probably be a mainly English animation anyway.

yes but i want to go for that pure french parody feel. and ya, i'm gonna do it entirely in french and supply english subs, as well as use your idea.

As far as "behind-the-scenes" stuff goes, I can scan in some early sketches I've down on paper, and maybe even toss in images of the actual characters I'm going to use.

HAH, that is awesome. I like the drawing. Yeah, that'd work well, I like it. I'll release a template for the scrapbook later (in flash format) so you guys can put together your pages how you want to. Text or hand writing or whatever. That way I can just copy and paste it and it should work. I'll prolly do that like the... the first of May. That way it truly can be an afterthought, y'know.

Now seriously, I am preety sure my part will look grrrrrrreat, I need a voice actor, not necesarily french, just somebody who can make a tough gangster voice. I could do it myself, but my mic is preety much garbage.

Also, if we're having a character bios I want mine to say "I don't remember anything, I just opened my eyes and my hands were stained in blood..."

must say, this has got to be the best and most creative author bio idea i've ever seen. i know you've used this before but it's pretty awesome to use this in a collab.

ok guys, as of tomorrow at 5 am vancouver time i will be on my way to Mexico.

but i decided to sneak under my mom's radar and finish a crucial part of my animation (not to mention start the animation) before i go.

ill be working hard on my part once i get back. and i may touch of an l'anana as he (she?) is looking kinda wierd and it's pissing me off a tiny bit.

anyone else find it funny that the intro theme is way better done than anything else in the show?

The funny part about this is the feminine qualities are actually there in the real show. So don't change a thing, I'd say. Heh.

The low budget factor in this show make it that much more hilarious. I don't know about any of you guys, but I know I'm going to try to reproduce that low budget mentality. That means the black lines coming from Ananas' arms, never seeing Pilote's feet... it's gonna be awesome. Difficult to get right, yes, but awesome.

And don't worry, the scrapbook pages'll be easy to edit. Movie clip for the images, another for the comments. Easy peasy.

AND SINCE YOU GUYS ARE SHARING SCREEN CAPS, I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT I'VE DONE. SKELETONS. Real boney experience. I've done more, but yer gettin' this fer now.
