I don't have an NG shirt, so maybe I could take a regular shirt and write "Newgrounds" on it with Duct Tape, good idea though

If I can go I will wear my Madness shirt, easy enough to spot.

Next time someone tells you to "Leave room for the holy spirit.." ask them if they are implying you have a threesome.

I think I need to know the approximate time before I can confirm 100% (right now I'm just 99%)
and I'm reluctant to give out my address, even for a sticker from a fellow NG user, I need a while to think...

I confirmed already that I'm coming. I'll PM you my address shortly.

I'll definitely need to wear an NG sticker since I don't have an NG shirt. I'll be coming to this meetup wearing the same Rotting Christ shirt I wore to the NYC meetup.

Are we still planning on going to the aquarium?

I'd say yeah. It's $20 for an adult ticket so that shouldn't be too bad for anybody. What's some other interesting ideas for the day? I'm not as familiar with Boston as some of the people here.

There's the muesem of science, but do we really want to hit two of those kind of venues in one day?
Boston is full of historical places so we could do that, but it's a lot of walking. And there's the famous Irish style pubs but not everyone could do that. Maybe I can find some kind of lazer tag within city limits.................

yeah i think the aquarium is enough for that kind of thing. The museum may be overkill and I think it costs more. Anyway, I was talking to Madcow and he said there's a tram or whatever near the aquarium so we can just go anywhere from there. Is the aquarium going to be the meet up spot? There's also an imax theater right next to it and some shops + food and shit.

Cash is definitely an issue for me. There's no question about it, so it's important to make this meetup as cheap as possible. I'm really going to try my best not to spend more than $30 or $40 for the entire day. Also, it's worth noting that I'm coming to Boston from about 5 hours away, as I live in NYC.

To cut back on the cost of this whole thing, I would highly recommend not eating at more expensive restaurants--only fast food places such as McDonalds and Wendy's, local pizza shops, sandwich shops like Subway and what not. No need for any upscale dining. There are plenty of fancy restaurants near where I live, but I rarely go to any of them because I'm not made of money. Also, of course, we'll have to strictly limit any other costly activities as well. If I purchase an aquarium ticket, I probably won't have that much left for food.

God fucking damn it...

I'm cool with the Aquarium as a meetup spot! although I agree that, apart from that at least, we should probably go easy on the spending

I don't know where the laser tags in Boston are (if any) as the only one I've been to is in Litchfield NH

yeah, seeing the sights of Boston sounds good, just so long as I don't have to eat any seafood

There're cooler museums that don't actually cost much to attend. I'm pretty sure you can see 'old ironsides' (the USS Constitution built for the war of 1812 still afloat today) for free (unless you want a group guided tour... fuck that though). There's all sorts of cool shit to do around Fanuel Hall (which is near the Haymarket T-stop) and the North end.

Gory: don't waste your money on fast food. We (provided I'm there) can get delicious food from some local hole-in-the-wall sub shop or somesuch and it'll be not quite as cheap, but super delicious.

I've seen the aquarium many times before, dunno if I'll bother spending money to go there this time around. As for laser tag: there's no way they don't have a laser tag somewhere within city limits. Museum of science is a similar deal, plus if you guys want to go to the Omnitheatre it costs more money.

Now, the bars in Boston are great. There's a stretch of bars near the Holocaust memorial (right next to a T-stop... can't remember the name of it at the moment) that I'm particularly fond of mostly for the "Bell in Hand" tavern, which is a 5-10 dollar cover with 4 different bars over two floors and a huge dance floor upstairs. Waits are long, but typically worth it.

Ok, the nearest lazer tag I can find is in north andover which for the spirit of a pure Boston meet is probably out.
Boston paintball could still be an option, but that could get pricey.

yeah, "Old Ironsides" does sound better than the aquarium now that you mention it
you know, I don't know half of what they have down there, I mean, sure, I live HERE, so you would think I would get away as often as possible (which is why I wanna do this) but I don't get out much

as for the laser tag, well, if we all have transport (possibly each other if necessary) then even if it's a little way away from Boston there shouldn't be a problem, my car holds 8 so I might be able to carry some people who took the bus or a parent

I can't drink alcohol though, I'm only 18, and it tastes like shit, so I'd be with the minors group during that period (I ain't using any other drugs either, except caffeine)

I'll be in town, but I don't think I'll have time to meet up with anyone as I'm only in for a graduation. Post up the itinerary though when you guys know what it is and we'll see.

I'd say that going to the aquarium isn't that great. I went there and honestly it felt small. The only interesting thing would be the whale watching if you could guarantee the whales showing up, but I don't know how that works.

chances are we aren't going to be certain about anything until we've already done it, and even then only maybe
