i might go depending on the exact date, but we dont need to be confined to "boss"ton. we can just meet there and take the train as a group all ove and leave from "boss"ton. an idea is to goto revere beach, in revere mass. right near "boss"ton, only maybe 10 minutes on the blue line and the train takes you right there. literally to my old house. im also saying boston is boss.

So apparently I'm going to be in Boston for a completely unrelated reason that weekend. There's a 'Walk For the Cure' walk that my mom's cousin is doing, and she apparently booked a hotel there for the 25th. So if the meet goes on for awhile, we could have a decent place to head back to if we want to take a break from whatever it is we'll be doing that day.

Any hard plans on what we'll be doing that day?

That's part of the reason I don't like flying. Anywhere I went I'd have to come back through Logan. That plus the being really high off the ground part bothers me.

I don't need to take a plane to Boston from NYC--that would seem a bit ridiculous given the relatively short distance between the two cities. And personally, I can't say anything about Logan because I've never landed nor taken off from there. I'm a very infrequent flyer and I haven't been on a plane since August 2007 (and before that, September 1999).

Every time I've needed to go to Boston, for any reason, I've always used buses. Most likely, if I end up going to this meet, I'll book a Megabus ride, which will cost me anywhere between $1 to $18 (most likely $10) per trip, which is not a bad deal at all.

I might be able to go, as long as it's not the weekend of July 10th. That's my little bro's birthday, and I'll be stuck over here. Even so, Springfield isn't exactly walking distance... There's a slim chance.

I've been thinking quite a bit about this, and I see that the official date has been set to July 25th. That's good for me. I went to Danny's meetup in NYC recently (again, I live there, so it was only a simple 20 minute subway ride for me), and there is about an 80% chance that I will be at this one, too. I don't have any other plans for that weekend.

I'm most likely going to take a 7:30 AM Megabus ride from near Penn Station to the Back Bay Station, and I should arrive there around 1:15 PM. I don't know how far away that is from the meetup site, but I'll need to get back there by 9:30 PM so I can take the 10:30 PM bus back to NYC.

All in all, the round trip will cost me $20.

However, I will be on a very tight budget, and this is one thing I'd like to stress in particular. I'm not made of money, so don't even think about doing anything that will rape my wallet. I'll try my best to spend no more than $30 that day. I can't afford to eat anywhere more expensive than McDonald's, Wendy's, Subway or a pizza store. I looked into the aquarium (assuming that it's the New England Aquarium we're talking about), and I see that tickets are $19.95 per adult. Fuck that shit. Even the New York Aquarium in Brooklyn is cheaper than that place is.
