Scroll lock is easily the most useless key as most programs don't even account for it anymore. It used to be that if you turned scroll lock on in a program that had a cursor you could move the screen around, but leave the cursor where it was while using the arrow keys. That doesn't work anymore.
End I find to be extremely useful, especially while browsing or writing documents as it allows me to go to the end of the page I'm on. Home is similar but it goes to the beginning. When coding both of these buttons are extremely useful.

What is it supposed to do? And why is it next to the numbers?
That key is the left side single quote. Not all text editors automatically replace it like word does, so the single quote is still needed if you are programming or writing in a mark up language like latex as the left double quote doesn't exist and you need two ``single quotes to make a double quote.''
Anyhow, break and pause are so specialized even I had to look them up and its use is so technical a majority of you would never have to care about it or use it.
A lot of the keys I used to think were useless became absolutely necessary once I decided to go for computer science.
YOU'LL NOT TAKE MY KEYS AWAY FROM ME, YEE CHEEKY BASTURDS!
