That the Russian Apartment Bombings weren't the most obvious government conspiracy in history.

I mean I'm not one to be into conspiracy theories and what not but this is probably the easiest one to believe and it makes a lot of sense.

Like this is beyond any minor 9/11 explanations that don't add up
this is just flat out scary.

* There were fucking FSB (KGB successor) agents found planting bombs who claimed it was a drill

* The Duma (senate) refused any independent investigations

* There was a Swedish journalist who published an article on how Russia was gonna set up bombs and blame it on the Chechnyans.....three months before it happened.

* This is fucking Russia

* In the Duma some guy said something along the lines of "I had just gotten the report that a building in ______ has exploded" and it explodes 3 days later.

* The incident started the war in Chechnya and made Putin crazy popular

Coming from the country that has a history of KGB rule and that during the Theater Hostage Crisis gassed the building and killed a bunch of hostages it's not hard to believe something like this could happen.

9/11, arguably, was used to justify war. if a country needs to find a reason to declare war then doing some underhand work is something they can do to get it how they want it.
the Japanese forged an attack on there own railway leading to manchuria in WW2. the chinese denied attacking it, but the Japanese used it as a reason to go into china and take over Manchuria anyway.
