How can I make my dimensions A4? It doesn't accept more than 2880 px either high or wide, and A4 is 3508 wide, 2480 high (landscape).

Why would you want to? You can't play flash movies on loose leaf! :D
Relistically if you tried to make an A4-Sized flash animation your computer would have a nightmare playing it.

It's for a poster. I mainly draw in flash nowadays. Flash is my Illustrator.

Draw it scaled down then resize it. The magic of vectors. Plus remember what you draw in flash isn't limited to being within the stage.

D'oh, of course! I was thinking of drawing it in flash then copypasta it to fireworks or something, but I like your idea.

Cheers everyone.

Keep in mind that exporting large images in flash can be a nightmare because Adobe never fixes anything. Might have to paste into Illustrator anyway, just to export it

In Flash CS4 you can just go:
Right click;Document Properties;match:Printer.
And those dimension work out to 576 px by 756 px
Here's a screeny:
Image Shack
Then I usually convert it to an image and print ( or you can just go: File;print )
This works for me ;)
Just don't put to much detail into your poster, cause unless you've got an industrial standard printer, it doesn't pick it up :P
