Truths of the Looney Toons

Has anyone every really stopped and thought about the motivations of the Looney Tunes? Why Daffy hates Bugs, why Wile E. chases the Road Runner? I have a few theories of my own.

I believe Bugs Bunny is actually of British birth, as Bugs is a traditionally English name. He compensates for this, trying to blend into his new home with outlandish commitals to propelling Americana and American stereotypes so no-one will notice. He's masked his accent to further propigate this ruse. Ever noticed how there are no real mentions of his childhood sans adoption by Granny? His birth? Because he is an English Grey Hare. He's not even a rabbit; his ears are too long.

If someone considers this British heritage, his relationship with Elmer and Daffy also makes sense. Elmer, a traditional American hunter? Hardly. His gear suggests a more European heritage, but his accent does not. Logically, Elmer is actually a Canadain; being of the Commonwealth, Elmer's deep seeded fascism has obviously lead to a rebellious attitude against all things English. Does he ever mention England? No, not once. Ever.

Now, when he came across Bugs' secret it's hard to say, though it is possible they took accent classes together when younger to skew thier origins. Elmer wants to kill Bugs because he is jealous of his adaptation and his heritage, and likley, his rejected homosexual advances when it is clear both are quite flamming. It makes perfect sense, doesn't it? It does.

Daffy is clearly Irish. He's slured, and tends to drink more than any other Looney Toon. He dislikes Bugs for the same reason as Elmer - he feels his homeland has been repressed by Bugs' nation, and resents the Northern Irish occupation to the extent that he's willing to lash out at Bugs because he was English born. Instead of seeking counselling, both have formed an alliance to harm Bugs - this is why almost every Elmer episode focus' on Bugs, and why there are fewer Elmer vs Daffy shorts. Because when there are, it's a carefully orchestrated act.

We all know Wile E. Cyote is a Native American, simply trying to rid the American repressor that is the Road Runner from his land, but he's a much more intellegent soul to go for outright killing, let alone banding against Bugs. He has no ill towards Britan, just the current Americans occupying his native lands. All his 'gag traps' are actually attempts to communicate with the evasive bird who, as expected, runs away from the problem instead of comming to the table and sorting it out. I feel for Bugs and Wille E. They deserve better than the propaganda they are subjected to, and the conspiracy against them.

Now, knowing the truth, isn't it all so obvious?

Daffy hated Bugs, because he always got the upper hand and Wile E. tried to catch the Road Runner because they're natural born enemies in the animal kingdom, stop trying to put a sophisticated look on 1930's American Animation.

Foghorn Leghorn: A southerner from a bygone age, he's actually African American - no bird is naturally that white, and if you look closely, you can notice it in the beak. Most assume this is for comic release, but it's actually time he allots to pray in the general direction of Mecca. He's also Bisexual, and his storng desire for women comes from the desire to repress that as in his religion, it is sin. He needs to face and accept himself; France and America are both accepting nations.

Porky Pig: Jewish. His comedy is an expression of self loathing due to his ironic nature. He over eats to self-comfort, and laughs to forget the fact he'll be going to hell. Well, if there *was* a hell. He'll be going somewhere.

Sylvester the Cat: He's a cat, and wants to eat a bird named Tweety. There's really not much to him, although it is hinted he self harms due to an un-requited love with Granny. Notice how one of his arms almost never moves by itself. It's because it hurts too much.

Tweety Bird: Sociopath. He knows Sylvester's desires and toys with him for his own amusement. He purposely endangers his life so that he can make a fool out of the cat he secretly loves but will never have. Thus, if he can't have him, no-one will. He tries to get close to Granny so he can eventually kill her to further mindfuck Sylvester. Self destruction, psychopathic tendecies and talking to himself in a sweet voice further fuel the bird's psychosis. He likley gets off at night thinking about the sick shit he's put Sylvester through. I suggest the police keep a close eye on him.

What NO I'm sure he is a sociopath but he loves her too. He just hates the cat and is extremely sadistic. I'm also sure that tweety is norwegian as he listens to black metal to fuel his hatred. Its the only explination.
