Hair Help

So, I've been working on the design of my soon to be website. I have the basic idea laid out and whenever I have time I work on the little graphics and decorations and stuff.
But I've hit a snag, a hairy snag.

I've tried different things already, but I can't seem to get her hair right, so Artsy Fartsy people, I call for your help!
Could use some suggestions.

Hairs always been something i've struggled with to, i've only started to really use hair in my characters recently, and even then it's pretty much afros or bowlcuts. But i think whats wrong with your's is it's to clean cut, too much like big shapes. Her bangs should fray a bit around the bottom like the sides of her hair does right underneath it. Also add some detail to the inside of the hair, to suggest strands.
