What kind of headphones do you use?

What kind do you use, and how do you like them.

I need a new pair, my old ones are starting to die :( I loved them while they lasted but I'd like to not use ear buds anymore and go for real headphones. I use an Ipod nano, I like Gothic, techno and metal music and I like heavy bass. What do NGer's reccomend?

I use the ones that go in your ears rather than on them. They're more private in the way that people can't hear your shit as loud as they would if you had on-ear headphones.

I just use small ones, like the ones on Ipods. I don't like the huge ones that cover me whole ears..

I had 3 other skull candy headphones in 2008, 2 broke on their own, and the other my dumbass friend broke

Hey, i use koss as my headphone.
They work great on your music taste.
I think skullcandy are the best, but they are real expensive.
They cost 100 dollar, but i m from norway so i thonk they are cheaper in the U.S

I have these Sony earphones!

They're pretty damn good, as they go right into the ear, so the sound quality is meat :D.
Sometimes it makes some annoying static noises though :/.

I've found none better than these.

I lke headphones but I hate the chunky feel of them going over your head. Earphones do my head in, as they always seem to fall out or feel uncomfortable in my ears (never get the right size) so these are good winners for me. They go over your ears like headphones but it slips behind your neck, which is cool cool cool for me.

I use and love the small ear-phones that go in your ear.It is a lot harder to keep in,but you can hide them easily while listening to them in class.

Generally, the more money you pay for headphones, the better quality they are. For years, I've been using my Sony MDR-V700s, which are professional DJ headphones. They've got superb sound quality and a wide frequency range. They cost $250, which is a lot of money to some people just for headphones, but they're worth every cent if you're serious about listening to music.

I use headphones that wrap around the back of the head and clip on to the ears. Whenver someone else tries to use them, they always think they're so cumbersome. Also, is it just me, or do those iPod bud headphones refuse to stay in one's ears?
