Been keeping track of this thread. No offense to anyone, but it just doesn't seem well organized. Just a bunch of mainly younger NGers, hanging out while attending another event.

I agree. I still plan on coming to NYC to visit my dad for the weekend, and i figured i might as well check this out while i'm there. But if it's going to more of a hassle than a fun little get together event.....i dunno....

The lack of organization and planning going into this meet-up deeply troubles me as well.

Look, I live in NYC, so there's no point in going to Rockerfeller Center, the Empire State Building or doing any of the typical touristy shit after the con. That'd just be wasting my time.

My suggestion for now: maybe someone else who lives in NYC besides me should just take this over and throw a private NG house party or something.

Not the first time an NG Meet-up was tried here in NYC.

Unlike the Montreal and London meets, the NYC ones fail each time they've been tried. I agree with you that a private party would be better.

I demand that TSstudios rummage through these pages of crap and compile a list of people who want to attend, their ages, and something that sounds like a plan of what to do. Something that would work for people who live around here. None of this Rockefeller Center shit. We've done that.

Elios, trust me. It'll work. its not just a little fun get together. We'll be walking around the city. not mainly little tourist attractions, but also nintendo world or Christies. if anyone knows other cool places to hang out, don't hesitate to tell me.

btw, why is everyone suddenly making a fuss about the places we'll be at? Theirs nothing wrong with Big apple con and Rockefeller Center. look, we meet some celebertys, buy a thing or 2 from the con, then get some lunch, head over to Rockefeller center and visit Nintendo World, NBC, st.patricks, etc.
I know I'm not Luis hosting an amsterdam meetup or Australia Meetup, but this is something, and atleast its better than nothing. So quit whining.
when we're there, Nathan might come and put us in the Newgrounds Documentary, and I'll have a camera and sketch book, so thats somethin.

I never said take away I just said take over when TS leaves. Any ways If you can't handle attitudes your better off not coming at all. Newgrounds is full of deferent people. Bring some cash to buy some stuff at the con and lunch, and don't forget the free admission slips. I'll seeya there. I'll be the guy with the black Newgrounds logo shirt on, and I'll be standing outside half the time looking for people attending.
