Hey, welcome to the1st NYC Meet-up thread.
this was a meetup, but It was exactly a NYC meetup. Just a friendly thing
If your from the North Eastern area of the U.S., and wanna go to a meetup, *there hasn't been one in ....who knows how long?* then come over to NewYork City.

WHEN : JUNE 13th.

WHERE : 401 Seventh Avenue at 33rd St. New York, N.Y., 10001-2062 at the pennsylvania hotel.
Well, Basicly across the Street from Penn Station. Its going to be at the
Big Apple Con summer sizzler. Its FREE admission... aparently because of the economy....

WHAT : If you're coming, you'll see that you can get autographs and cool stuff from booths, Maybe just Chill and get some lunch with your fellow Newgrounders, and look around.

When you enter the Penn Plaza pavilion, There are elevators right infront of you. You need to get your admission slip to go on up *Print it out of your computer from HERE. The Meet-up will be in the room up the escalators. Look for people wearing Newgrounds T-Shirt. * Recommended you wear a NG T-Shirt *

Well, simply given the density of NYC and the fact that he's aligning it with a ComicCon (from what I got from the post... i'm sorta half in the bag here)... he might have some turnout.

Agreed though: it's nothing like actually planning a full scale meet. My advice would be to continue to rely on the Con and have fun as a group there.
