It depends on the content.
If he made some constructive arguement as to why he believes whatever that was is better than Newgrounds, while mixing in some profanity and advertising, then I'm sure it was necessary.
If he was just being a sarcastic little asshole, then it was probably justifiable but not to the same degree as the scenario above.
Either way I don't see why it matters.

I'm guessing the Duck Division was some spam group which probably breaks the rules, and this account was probably linked to rule-breaking, and was deleted.

Why would he post something stupid on his page that would get him banned? It appears that his flash work wasn't all that bad. In this cache you see that he had many fans. Of course now it shows up as being blammed by the users.

His account got hacked by a DD member who made that news post, and also changed the name of his recently submitted movie, causing his account to get deleted along with the flash. Quite sad really...
