I actually just finished watching the Stargate SG1 episodes Mobius #1 and #2. They deal with this sort of thing and the ending is rather amusing.
But the swiss have been making watches for a long time have they not? 400 year isn't all too long.

Did they carbon date the watch? if they can prove it was made after the tomb was sealed, the tomb stayed sealed, and the watch was in there the whole time it was sealed, they would in effect, prove time travel.
