The basic premise is that you, the blue guy, are attempting to kill, the red guy. My job, as the programmer of the AI, is to make your job, very, very difficult. So far I think I've managed to make the AI hard, but not too hard so as to alienate the casual player. (Actually, I would be hard pressed to make a good one because I suck at AIs, just look at my submissions to the recent AS wars we've had.)
I've got the whole thing pretty much wrapped up with the exception of finalizing the timer + end of the game. You can't click the play button just yet to start the game because, for some reason, gotoAndPlay() has decided to be really gay with me lately, and is ticking me off with its Im-not-going-to-work-right-for-you-now-a nd-tell-flash-player-to-scream-a-bunch-o f-errors-that-don't-make-sense-in-your-f ace-ness.
So tell me what you think, what I should change, etc. (With the exception of making the AI "better" or "worse", if you're a programmer you understand how people asking that is annoying).
I tried to make this game play smooth as buttah, with nice transitions and smooth graphics, as well as presenting a feeling of duality. These are my main points, do you think I was successful in conveying them? I'm also trying to make the AI feel competitive, not as though its creaming your sorry arse, but that you always have that chance to beat it in the final 5 seconds. Was that your experience with it? How does it play on your browser, does it lag? Does it slowly lag more over time? critique?
Please note that I'm not willing to make fundamental gameplay changes, just tweak and addition suggestions please!
its good, but too damn long.
I think it's a little too hard for the casual gamer.

That's because it doesn't end yet. :)
The final game will have a timer that let's you fight him for abut, oh, maybe like 50 seconds, and will evaluate who won in the end by the bar at the top. This current version is for gameplay testing, so I made it so you couldn't die/end the game yet.
I think it would be better with a little more strategy involved. If you added cool down for the gun so you couldn't just keep shooting, or walls you could hide behind it would make it less of a click-fest. The AI was good though, we pretty much had a stalemate the entire time.
If you are reading this then you must be really bored.
