Thought this might be interesting....

Whats the most amount of hits youve ever got for a game? Mine is currently 939,729 for Fowl Play.

Yet to hit a million but I should easily reach it with my next release :)

Hehe, 1 million isn't bad either :) It's often a thin line between getting good or great exposure, and I have MaxGames (the sponsor) to thank for spreading the game as much as they did. It's actually not THAT good ;)

Youve gotta start somewhere! Try getting your games on more websites than just newgrounds, I find Newgrounds often gives me a very small hit percentage of my total views.

Once you get a game sponsored by a decent size website it really isnt hard to get a few hundred thousand views. Chances are if they are paying money for it they will push to distribute it and feature it themselves.

Once this starts happening people will knick your game and put it on their own websites, generating more views :)

Hehe, yeah you're probably right :)

I do feel kinda ashamed over that actually. I just didn't know so much at the time about legal issues and stuff, and it wasn't until the end of the development that I realized that it could get sponsored (as long as no money are involved you will most certainly not get into any trouble, or so I've heard at least).

I'm not very afraid of getting sued now though, mostly because I haven't heard of anything like it happening before, and also because there are pure rip-offs of the real PacMan game that are sponsored or using ads. They should be the first ones to go imo ;)

Most of them were from stolen sties haha.

Rusty 34 million is insane, im guessing thats Unreal Flash? Its pretty crazy to think the biggest shows on TV are getting like 10 million views a week(in UK anway), and some of you guys are topping that.
