I have been searching a bit around on google 'n stuff, but i haven't found a good tutorial for how a good song should be built up.

Also, what makes songs sound cool (exept the fact of individual taste)

I take it your looking for tips on mastering tracks and getting the sound you want?

If so, the first thing I can say is each sound you create/use, add Equalizers, Compressors, Reverb and other effects to get the sound you want, pan your channels so not everything is down the centre, that way it doesn't get to cluttered and it separates everything apart from one another.

A quick search on google brought back a decent result which has a lot of tutorials for achieving a decent sound, but at the end of the day, there isn't a specific sound that is "good" it's all opinion and preference.
