You know could never get into MACs for some reason.
I've always been a PC user. But I suppose both sides have their pros and cons.
I plan to keep using a PC however for my gaming classes up at college.
Especially since my college just started up the animation and design classes. We're the first in west Texas to do classes like this.
Pretty excited about that one...

And oh! a baby! that's really sweet.
I plan on working in pediatrics when I get my full RN (registered nurse) when I get out of college, so that pulls at my heart a little bit =).
That and a minor in animation and games...
I know I know..."they seem like they don't mix"
Anyways, congrats. =)

if vista is giving you problems i think there is a upgrade to windows 7 from vista S1 which is an alternative to using a MAC

The true story goes something like this.

Oney is sound asleep, snoring like a little baby having dreams about his tank award for Left4speed in 2010, WHEN SUDDENLY DHaynes breaks through his bedroom window! Oney screams and pees everywhere! DHaynes holds a knife to Oneys neck, and his rquests are simple.

The next day Tom recieved the PM from Oney.

It's true! I have a flash of this in the making.

In the directors cut of my flash right where Oney pees everyhere Egorapter makes a cameo and complains about piss everywhere. Just like in MGA2 ;)

This was good, why'd you miss this? Anyways, teach your little one to know and love Mac OS X, Tom. It's easy to use, so it won't be THAT hard to learn.

Vista is fine if you are running a rig with 3GB RAM or more. It is actually a decent system if you give it a chance to run on a system with that amount of RAM or above. Otherwise, Vista does suck up resources like a fat kid eats cake.

Also, good luck for teh baba. Looking after the spawn of the Architect (That's you, Fulpy) would be damn hard work, I hope you aren't under-prepared for it.

Lol, sorry to hear that. I've used both Mac and PC frequently throughout high school and college and Flash runs absolutely horrendous on a Mac. I just got Vista 64 almost a month ago and it works fine. If you have older programs, just remember to run them under XP compatibility mode. Doing that I was able to get a ton of programs to work. Also, don't forget to shut off those worthless security features.

What's wrong with Windows XP? MS has said they will support it for as long as they support Vista.

The transition from Mac OS 9 was somewhat easy, because it looked sleeker and ran faster. Too bad the computer that we used so much messed up. It still worked, but we got it properly working again last year. Ideas are still being made about what to turn it into.

Anyways, maybe you're having a couple of problems Tom, but you can always Google the solution(s).

Nice to see you keeping up your promise to showcase undiscovered gems, Tom.

I decided to start posting my own extensive collection too, after the last contest you ran. I've been slow about it though. I've only just put up my ninth page, in fact. It's a pain to copy flash titles into the links so that it's presentable though. This is the excuse I currently use for not having gone faster in converting the stuff anyway. Heh. I could leave it with the title and link separate but I prefer the look when I clean it up and add a few other touches. Along with double checking the links to make sure they are not dead anymore.

One example of a flash that was deleted since I last checked a year or three ago is "Yes & No". I was shocked at that. It was a hilarious stick amine on the do's and don'ts of driving. It was up for over six years. The reason why it was blammed and the author deleted is a mystery to me. To the best of my memory, it was the very first NG flash I had ever seen and it was really popular at the time too. Was around for years... Now it's gone. :(

Anyway, although the current look is fine, it would look even better if you add the graphical, hyper links that you do for the forums in the blog section. Any chance that could be done?

Just a thought. Anyway, if you would like to take a look at what I have posted so far, the link is in my signature. For all, except the first page, I have forty links per page, each with a description. So there is plenty to look through.

Collecting NG's undiscovered gems has been a hobby of mine since 2005. I am curently posting them on my blog.

Feel free to check them out and tell me what you think.

I'm sorry, what?!? How the hell have I not heard about this? Well, congratulations, and most of all, good luck.

Also, if it's a boy, call it Tim. The "T" and "m" come from your name, and the "i" comes from April's name. Naming problem solved.
