Okay, it really sucks. I mean it sucks so much I barely talk to anyone when that happens. I learned to deal with the shit like that, because that's happened to me more than 4 times.

There was a guy who took an interest in me while I was dating another guy. I was tempted because I did enjoy talking to this new guy a lot, and I found him more interesting if truth be told. I had a long think about it but couldn't hurt my boyfriend like that, so I said no to this new guy and stayed with my boyfriend.

Anyway, things didn't work out with my boyfriend, I broke up with him and this other guy had gotten himself a girlfriend in the meantime and now he's engaged to her.

I do wish them both the best luck for the future, but it does make me wonder sometimes, could that have been me?

I think it happens to everyone... very few of us are able to marry and die with our "first love".

I lost the first girl I ever fell in love with to my best friend... we had been best friends for 13 years. And when I say best friends... I mean it. We where like brothers. We hung out every day of the week. We lived down the street from each other, went to the same schools, where in the same grade, even had a lot of the same classes together. We learned to drive together, got fucked up for the first time together... everything.

One year I had to leave town because my grandma was sick and dying. I returned to find out that she had left me for him... pretty shitty thing to do .

You get over it... I mean, you never really get over it... but it becomes ok. It's a werid feeling to explain... you don't ever wake up and say "I'm glad it happened" but you don't wake up and feel bad about it. It's just another thing that happened and you realize, for better or worse, there's no changing it so you just deal with it and move on.

It's a life experiance... it helps you grow.

I've never gotten close enough to a women for it to matter that much to me. They generally seem to try to get the fuck out of there whenever I say anything.
