You know when those embarresing parents show their kid's (girl)friends baby pictures of him? I wonder how he feels about his baby penis being on one of the biggest albums ever.

He decided to wear shorts here. I believe it was the wrong decision.

I read about that in Rolling Stone.

Interesting fact: The monkey on the back of the album is the monkey from Speed Racer, and it is sitting on a giant vagina.

I read that in a biography of Kurt Cobain.

Nevermind is pretty boring to be honest when you compare it to practically every other album in the 90's. Damn good decade

I forgot to put this in my initial post, but Beck's Odelay and Slint's Spiderland were also favorites of mine.

It isn't rock, it is grunge.
But my favorite is In Utero - Nirvana.
One of the best album I have ever heard in my entire life.

Grunge is rock. As is metal and punk.

Rock is an enormous, encompassing category.

Not rock.

yes, its a branch of metal, metal being a branch of rock. the larger umbrella of "rock" encompasses all types of music.
these include Metal, Progressive rock/metal, Grunge, Punk etc.
so yeah, shut up.

Mindless Self Indulgence - Mindless Self-Indulgence
Mindless Self Indulgence - Tight

Both are great albums, too bad that they're so rare that the only way to get them is to spend an arm and a leg for them on Ebay.

Agreed, it's a close one between this and What's the story morning glory? But IMO I think this is better, even though alot of people think that this album is not as good. Just because WTSMG has Wonderwall, it becomes the greatest album evarrrr. But no, Live Forever and Cigarettes and Alcohol makes this album amazing, but then, WTSMG has Don't look back in anger and Champagne Supernova, I don't think my mind will ever be properly made up about this one.
