I need some advice. Is there anyone here with any experience in medical procedures, or electronics? I am really stressed out lately. My left arm has developed a tumor, and it's going to need to be amputated. I've been building a mechanical replacement for it. I've had a lot of trouble controlling the arm with my nerves though. I'm not sure if I should go through with this. I'm really nervous about possibly not having a functional arm.

Ah, but if I do not have an arm, I will not be able to operate said grabber. The only viable solution would be to build a control unit that would allow my nervous system to control the grabber.

I'd try to avoid asking NewGrounds for help with something extremely important and serious like this. Take any advice you get in this topic with a grain of salt.

I don't have medical insurance, because I quit my job to work on the arm full-time.

What you will need:
4 AAA batteries
8 feet of yarn
A $50,000 computer (if your really hardcore about doing this)
40 feet of extension cord
7 pounds of artificial beef
an old tape recorder
What you need to do:
I'm not really sure. Try tying the batteries to the beef with the yarn, then record yourself as you do this with the tape recorder for future reference. Stick an extension cord in there and plug it into your computer. I think you'll get a shock or something.
You can thank me later.

I got past that stage of development years ago. I have revised my plans significantly, and I have an actual working design. I just need to interface it with my nervous system.

Yeah, of course. I can't afford the ones from hospitals, they're WAY too expensive. I don't have enough money, so I've been working on this replacement for the last four months.

Your using a power supply instead of batteries? You do realize that you are going to have to be near an outlet in order to use it, don't you?

WTF. Do you really think it's safe to wear that thing..? It doesn't look too functional...
Contrary to popular belief, recording yourself shouting "Hey!" and "Listen!" in Audacity and then raising the pitch by 30% does not create an instant Navi voice. >:V

Oh my god. I want one now. Might as well cut off my arm right now!
