I think it's pronounced 'meem'. Like 'me me' without the second 'e'.
I'm probably way off, though.
The concept is related to the idea of genes... only with like, bits of socially-shared information or whatever. So I figure it's supposed to be pronounced like "meem" to rhyme with it.

I don't think there is an official pronunciation for it, but I'm always pronounced it like me-mm (as in the word me and as in the sound after you eat a piece of cake).
I never really thought of the pronunciation though... this is very interesting.

It's pronounced "meem", but you can also pronounce it as "même" (french for "self").
I pronounce it Mey Mey and I feel like a retard every time I say it.
Then again, every time I say Meh Meh, Mee Mee, Maim, Mem or anything else along those lines I feel like a retard as well.
Maybe it's like that for a reason, because you shoulcn;t be saying meme in real life anyway.
I first began calling them "May-mays" but when I watched Brawl Taunts, I thought that "Meem" was the proper way to say it.
So now I say "meem".
