I think these spree killers are pathetic, in a way. It's not like fifty kills is an accomplishment or a thing to be proud of. If someone had single-handedly committed the 9/11, I'd give certain respect to the killer for the ability to control himself and the people around him.

That's a really shit mentality, 'they have a gun so I must have a gun to protect myself' it just makes a really vicious cycle. In my opinion, and this is a crazy idea, if guns were illegal than there would be less gun crime because fucked up individuals would find it harder to get hold of one. I never understood the reasoning behind people owning guns 'for protection' anyway, it just means any idiots can enforce their own brand of justice.

Gun crime is a big problem in my city of manchester (known as gunchester because it is supposedly the gun capital of europe), but that doesnt mean I have seen that much gun violence, and those that I have known die of gun crime have always been involved in gangs. I trust the police to handle gun criminals not just everyday peoplpe. peh. you probably have a really good counter arguement for my awesome post

I was downstairs and my mum starts going on about some kid killing people, I already heard from NG but it was pretty obvious as well, its always a school shooting, always, its so fucking boring. She asks me if they did it for attention when I mentioned it being old and frankly yes they probably do. Loads of people have problems but they are more creative than going in a school and shooting people and shooting themselves after. Like playing cards.

A few more shootings, eh? Big fucking deal, my heart does go out to those who suffered physically and emotionally, but you can't always put the blame on others. Sure, others were probably involved in past bullying but I'm sick of people always blaming the jock/prep/popular kids. These people were not only bullied by them.

I could be considered a jock, prep, or maybe even a popular kid, and I may do my fair share of putting others down. However, the blame fully rests on the kids who carry out these shootings. Who decided to get the guns, they did; who decided to shoot people; they did. Fuck them, they're better off dead as they were obviously the weaker ones in society, in more ways than one.

There are plenty of kids bullied by others who brush it off and live a life after high school, because they aren't weak. Also, I'm sick of hearing people say, "Well, I hate those popular kids, and I never bully anyone." Bullshit. Everyone does, some more than others, but everyone does.

Shut up. Get over it. Move on.

Not really. The majority of guns used in crimes are stolen and then sold illegally. Banning guns will only take them out of the hands of law abiding citizens.
