Which is better call of duty 4 or 5

The two games are amazing in my opinion but which is better?
id say 5 purely for the bolt action rifles without a scope

5, without a doubt.

4 was terrible. It didn't feel like Call Of Duty, the campaign had one fun mission, the setting was absoloute balls and the multiplayer became likeable only for a short period of time.

ya same, 4 was everything 5 is now, literally. They just skinned the players, added new guns added shit vehicles, and fucked spawn points up ftw, though i do admit zombie mode was pretty fun

How the fuck did 5 not feel like Call Of Duty, how is WW2 a wanky setting and what was the one good mission?

The multiplayer is exactly the same aside from the fact that you can't run into a room with a P90 and kill everything in it in a few seconds. How is it worse?

Didnt say it was worse just saying I liked CoD4 more then 5. The weapons in 5 were hard and annoying yet in cod4 you get a feel for them. I hate it that some cool SMGs in WaW dont shoot so far and even if so its hard to aim. its really a machine gun, sniper game with the pain in the ass spawn killing, tanks, the big ass artillry.

Well first off and I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way towards this matter, I am sick and tired of damn Thompson machine guns..... Seriously how many games can you possibly keep making about stupid WORLD WAR 2, CoD 4 May be a shorter game but online game play and just a change for once makes it so so much better of a game, in the end both really do suck along with the whole call of duty series. If you want a great Shooter go with Gears of War or Gears of War 2 you can not go wrong with either.

Personally, I found Call of Duty: World at War to be an okay game, but I preferred Call of Duty 4 in many more ways.

It might be a good shooter, but it feels just like a finely done mod of Call of Duty 4. Not worth $60 in my opinion.

I liked 4 more than World at War. We've all played through World War II so seeing how a war would look like in modern times is a pretty awesome concept. Plus Infinite Ward always seems to be the better of the two companies.

This, and IrishGun, get over it. It's an opinion.
Also, COD4 was great, COD6 will be even better, didn't really like COD5, I beta tested it.
COD4 is more action packed, while COD5 is full of Tank whores, bad spawn points, and unoriginal gameplay ( COD1,COD2, and COD4's Mp. ).
Most people that think CoD 5 is better haven't played CoD4, vice versa. I hate that. lol.

First off: I wouldn't even call WAW 'call of duty 5' because it did not feel like call of duty 5 at all! COD4 was a huge improvement over previous call of duties and other FPSs in general. With COD:WAW I felt that activision had mutilated all of the fun out of it
