They're two really different fighting games. I have had more of a childhood growing up with MK, but I think SF comes out on top.

Oh and alot of people requested it as letters to Midway.
I went to my friends house, and I saw MKvDC, i was like WHAT THE HELL?
This game sucks! But i tried it and its pretty cool. Once you get past that "theres barely any blood and no fatalities" thing, you're fine.

As far as classic games of the two go, Mortal Kombat destroys all of the Street Fighter games with just Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3...

As far as the new games go, Street Fighter totally dominates the MK franchise.

Street fighter has always sucked...and then there was Street Fighter 4...they fucking hit the hammer with that shit...but still like all fighting games there are many spam moves in SF4. MK vs. DC had no fatalities...so it sucked...but still Ultimate MK 3 on the 360 is awesome.

I disagree with you on so many levels, until the end of your post... Street Fighter 4 is BY FAR the best Street Fighter game, but the others were pretty good, just not as good as the old MK games imo... Second of all, MK vs. DC Universe has Fatalities for the Mortal Kombat characters, and Heroic Brutalities for the DC heroes, please try to do them on your own instead of believing all the old news posts and angry fanboy rants...

With all the disagreements, I must admit, yes Ultimate MK3 is awesome, although I don't have it on my 360 yet..

If you're going to compare the two, you'd have to do it with the classic games.

If you do it these days SF would automatically win, since MK has now become slow and broken.

How on earth can anyone say Mortalk Kombat was better than Street Fighter? It may have been good, but in the end, Mortal Kombat was just a cheap Street Fighter knockoff with copious amounts of violence thrown in to make up for its technical shortcomings.
