I hate driving in the city, but I am still in.

I just got word from Black487 and he will saddly be out of town that weekend. No worries however, there are plenty of bars/clubs/places we can destroy for the evening.

Baww, the only time a meet is truly close to Florida, I'm not allowed to leave the state due to personal reasons.

Maybe next year. Or if another pops up after December.

That's cool. I set up that hotel pretty much for cost convenience. Probably going to move the Friday night party to a bar in town. Never been there but I have heard great things. Called the Brick Store Pub.

What time is everyone looking to get into town? We could meet up there Friday in the evening.

Once I get all my crap together ill post exact times and spots of all the locations to meet for the three days. That way people are not wandering around certain areas =p

I have to work that Saturday and Sunday but I'm off Friday. So more than likely I'll drop by the hotel or wherever the initial meetup is being held. I'll just have to go back and make sure I know where this place is.

OMG IT IS ALMOST THAT TIME!!!

OK people Friday is coming soon. For those who are getting in early on Friday send me a PM with some contact info and we can hang out, grab a bite, or whatever during the day. For everyone else let us all meet at The Brick Store Pub any time after 7 PM.

Then on Saturday we will meet at
Piedmont Park at around 2 PM. Aim for the numbers 7,8,9,10, good gathering area.

We can hang out in the pretty park and check out all the flowers and then grab some grub and hang out.

If it is raining, and it has been raining like crazy as of late, then we can reschedule to somewhere less wet. Ill let y'all know when I get a more clear weather forecast.

i live near the airport in atlanta anyway... loud as hell but i hear the hotels are nice... but this will be my first meet up EVER!!!... just now heard about it.. so..... what is this meet up thing all about? i need to get out more anyway....

OMG is it really that time already?!

YES! It all starts tomorrow. Begin to get excited. I am posting a more detailed schedule of events now. I felt that this way if someone was unable to come to all the events, they should be able to make at least one. Anyway here we go:

Friday October 16th,

This is the day most people will be getting in to town most likely. So it is really chill as far as "events" go. Today we can just meet up and hang out and wait for others to roll on in. Please send PM me your cell phone number if you want to meet up and grab lunch or something.

7:00 PM - Meet at Brick Store Pub

Saturday October 17th,

Rain may become an issue, but the plan is to meet at Piedmont Park and then go from there.

2:00 PM - Meet at Piedmont Park
- Aiming for area 7,8,9 & 10

From there we can grab some food at one of the many local restaurants.
There is a Bowling Alley near by if people get the need/want to do such. I hear people enjoy bowling.

8:00 PM - Meet at Fado Irish Pub for some drinks and good food.

Sunday October 18th

Probably most people will be leaving today. However, if you are local or staying for the extra time then there is still much you can do. I am going to take the wife to Centennial Olympic Park and spend the day in that area. This is were the World of Coke, Aquarium, CNN center and a bunch of great places to eat.

6:30 PM- Meet at Park Tavern

Here we can finish off the meet with some great food and free local music. This is also a great time for all of those who were out of town during the meet to sneak in and say hello.

Its not just for an hour. It is for lunch and whatever else. Like bowling as I mentioned.

It is really all about how long you want to hang out. Checking out the park, lunch and maybe some fun and games.... I think 5:00 sounds about right for that.
