Well like the other guy said, don't think about it too much or you'll never get it. For example, ACDC found their name when they looked at one of the band members sewing machines that said "ACDC" on it, they thought it sounded cool and poof.

Or it can be a word meaning multi words, for example KISS stands for Knights In Satan's Service. So you could call yourself GORE Gods of rock empowered or extreme or something.

Or you can think of a basic theme name for your band like "The masters of music" and translate it into latin, which is Vinco Silicis. Latin makes it sound awesome. I was in a rock band and we did nothing but play all day, we figured we weren't gonna be able to rock as much when we got older so we rocked as much as possible, so we called ourselves "Carpe Diem" which is latin for "seize the day" And don't even think about using that name as we came up with it first.

So hopefully these ideas should help.

Go with something short and simple. If people are impressed with the music they will be more likely to remember your bandname if its not overly elaborite.I feel its really hard to suggest a name without actually hearing it, do you have any stuff in the audio portal? that would help. Until then a decent name would be"Generic". ( I find insulting yourself has an opposite effect in the alternitive rock community.)

I think you should go for a band name which suggests something dirty, but isn't explicitly a double entendre or anything... Like Throbbing Gristle, or Big Black.
