Here's the story I've got this .AVI file that's just under 700mb. I want to burn it to a DVDr so I can watch it on my DVD player. I have a CD-RW drive, and a plain DVD drive. Is there any way I could get this to work?
If I can't burn it to a DVDr is there a possibility I could burn this to a CDr?
Just under 700MB? The average CD-R is 700MB,but it depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to make it playable in a DVD player, you will have to burn it as a VCD using Nero 7 Essentials. However, encoding it may make it larger that 700MB, so you will want to split the file using Easy Video Splitter, I use it and it works great. When you have split your file, you will want to burn each part to different CD-Rs, one CD-R per video part. Then burn it as a VCD using Nero 7 Essentials. After that try putting it into your DVD player and see if it works. If it doesnt, install Noone's VCD player, I use this too and its so simple. Its an awesome program and I highly recommend it.
:Thats pretty much all the tech help I can give you so try it!
