Well, I may not be much of a poster on NG, and I cannot, sadly, say I have any part of submitting any movies, as my creative talents are only in writing....that, and my long dead goldfish probably knows more about computers than I do....or at least, flashwise...

Inspirion needs to take a firecracker, shove it down his throat, and blow his own fucking head off *both of them, in both senses, and both meanings*, and we all know he does anyway...I would just like it to be known, I cannot even begin to express my gratitude towards Tom for this site. This site is the largest on the god damn web...hell, I even met my girlfriend on the BBS here...it gives me hours of entertainment *nothin' better than Pico, ROCK ON, PICO!!*, and I feel some small little ounce of power from my voting power...makes me feel as if I'm someone. THE SOLUTION TO ADS

go to downloads.com and find and download spywareblaster, and spybot (no spybot isnt the cause of the problems, that person lied. its spyware or adware thats the cause. spybot is the cure.) and install the programs, run em, update em, use spybot's scan to eliminate adware/spyware, and use spywareblaster's enormous range of scripts to immunize yourself from the adware/spyware (and, a couple virii, as ive noticed... worms to be specific).

goto the start menu, goto run, type in command, use the dos prompt to get to the directory c:/windows then type in "edit hosts" with no quotes, then press enter, then type in:

"127.0.0.1 localhost"

then on the following lines, as many as you want, you can do something like

"127.0.0.1 ads.track.net"

or

"127.0.0.1 track.net"

track.net is an ad site. you can put whatever site in the place of track.net. whatever you put, will turn the banners from that host, into "this page cannot be displayed" in microsoft's IE.

also, those people who mentioned the google toolbar are right, it does stop all popup windows that are automatically brought up. i use it.

if there is anything i missed, be my guest, tell me what i missed. yes i am completely aware of ad-aware, (accidental pun) but spybot is the better alternative.

The guy who made the post was Inspiron, and though he swore too much and was crude, and he was wrong about the issue of amazon and paypal etc, but what he said about all the ads and errors...don't you think he was at all right?

There are a lot of ads and errors. Everytime I go to the politics forum, it's "error: the server administrator has been contacted," and I just refresh until it clears.
The ads are even worse. Before I got the pop-up blocker, I would be embarrassed to even come here because I couldn't help the horrible messages that would spring up.

Don't you think that it is ironic that the creator of the site would attempt to do something cool and professional, which is trying to get Alien Hominid into a video game, yet when you see what he has created, you are assaulted by "HELP NEWGROUNDS BY BUYING YOUR OWN FREE INDIAN EZINE, FREE TORTURE EZINE, FREE GRANNY EZINE, FREE RUSSIAN EZINE?"
