Usually through my "online friends" who regularly update their music blogs and such. Download a lot of the music they put up on their sites and/or share with me, as I know they all listen to good shit. Also, sometimes I'll put on the last.fm radio and let that play for a complete day or so and spot out the bands that I need to check out.

But I mostly stumble across random blogs and whatever catches my eye, I'll give it a shot and download.

I stumble across it using StumbleUpon, it's pretty neat if I'm bored.

rythm games like rock band, Flash movies, and youtube. Also my parents.

Mainly through talking to friends and people at gigs and bars. Also; facebook profiles, /mu/, wikipedia and radio.

Most of the new music that I get into now is stuff that I find on Pandora or stuff that my friends find on Pandora. It's really broadened my horizons.

Video games definately. I blame Burnout: Revenge, Burnout 3, and Need For Speed Most Wanted for getting me hooked on a few bands i love. Not only that, but If a game has enjoyable original music, I do my damnedness to find it.
