Like on the phone, email, etc.? And what do you say?

I occasionally email them (typically once every few months or so). The last time I emailed them, I told them to stop poisoning the world with their shitty genes. I also made a few prank calls with blood-curdling screams in the background. It's fucking hilarious to piss them off.

Looking forward to hearing some good stories. :)

I'm actually a bit more mature, I grunt for a diaper as well as when I am hungry.

Guess what? I'm even more mature! I grunt not only for a diaper and when I'm hungry, but also when they have their dicks up my three-hole ass.

as fun as incestuous rape jokes are... wait, since when?

nevermind. I almost never talk to my parents unless they call me about something. I bet they think I hate them. But I don't, I just never think to call.

I talk to my parents every single day, considering I still live with them.
It's not like it's a bad thing though, I get food and a roof over my head out of the deal. :D

I do. I love talking to my parents, mostly because they're mature but still know how to have fun. My parents are my friends. I see movies with them, eat dinner and have casual lunches with them. There is absolutely no shame in talking seriously or humorously with your parents.

Lovely!

I'm assuming that most Newgrounders still live with their parents... in which case they're inevitably going to communicate with them in some way.

As for me, I don't really call home as much as I probably should. In fact, this thread has reminded me to actually call my mum later on, seeing as I haven't spoken to, or communicated with her in any way in over a month now. :/

That's pretty funny.

I avoid emailing them for the most part because my mum likes to send big long emails about how much of a fuck up I am and then she bitches at me when I don't respond. Like I want to contribute to a convo that would just turn into a fight.

When I was away, I'd call and talk sometimes. It'd be easier to IM, but they don't do that.

No, I dont. I have not spoken to my parents in 8 years and dont ever intend too. They are hypocritical idiots, that like to abuse and deride those around them. I wont even go to their funerals when they die. I hate (thats such a strong word) them.

I was never really a hell raiser with my parents. But now that I'm a bartender I think that simply because I deal in 'SIN' pisses them off more than anything I could ever do.

I call them somewhat often.

My conversations with them these days are usually pretty typical and short, and rarely ever substantive. No need to go any further than that.

God fucking damn it...

I call my mother at least once a week. She thinks I'm just keeping in touch, but mostly I'm making sure she hasn't killed my father in his sleep. Whenever I make the call I always have my shovel and hole-diggin' boots handy, and a solid alibi ready to go.

I can't imagine where I'd be right now without the advice of my family and in particular my parents. I talk to them every week or so and we discuss the usual assortment of affairs going on. It's good to know that if you have that resource of knowledge, to use it whenever you need help. Sometimes they act a bit stupid or they're embarrassing, but they've also got important advice and I'm not going to pass that up right now.

My dad has enough trouble emailing people at work so it would be a painful experience to maintain email contact with him. I occasionally text/call him, but only when I need to be picked up and the buses don't come for a few hours.

And if we run outta bullets? Heh, baby, they're gonna wish we hadn't....

Yeah I send my mum emails when she is at work because I know she gets bored and lonely and I just tell her what I have done in the day.

Yes, it's true, I fuck me.

I live with mine, so I usually have to talk to them every day. Even if it is small talk. I like talking to my dad though, he usually has a decent opinion on most things, and has similar interests to me so it's easy enough to strike up a conversation. My mums a bit weird though. I try to avoid talking to her, least to avoid her ranting obsession with facebook T_T

I might talk to them/see them once every month or so, but that's about it. Even when I come home some weekends I don't see them too much. I usually head down to the gym or go out with friends, see my girlfriend, etc..

This week was the most that I saw them in a long time since it was spring break for me and everything. I'm coming home next weekend too for some nice toe surgery so I'll be seeing them two weekends in a row. That usually doesn't happen.

I try to talk to my parents everyday, usually by phone or I just go and stop by. I don't live too far away from them, and I don't share all this angst with parents that most of you around here do. There good people.

Maybe later.....

I try not to. Partly due to my step-dad's tendency to pose as my mum on MSN.

I've made my mind up, there's going to be trouble.
