There's not much thinking involved in beating the game. Just spam the bunnies till you max them out, then release Applejack, along with with any available units, then spam any unit that comes up first. This method works well for all levels, except boss battles. The only troops you need worry about leveling up are pip and feather weight, and maybe snails. I built them up to level 7 and 6, respectively. Applejack is you star for this game, so build her level as much as you can. Pinki Pie complements AJ well for boss battle with her increase attack speed power, so give her a few levels. As for the 3rd hero, I used Rainbow dash, but I'm thinking that Twilight would have been a better choice.

You only need to upgrade Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pies upgrade will increase the duration of her special skill which makes you completely invulnerable. Your units don't die as long as it lasts, they will get reversed health bars. Applejack does the damage and can finish every level between the bosses on its own followed by a troop without upgrades.

I've been mainly using Ash, Sydney, and Rodney for everything and only using Phil if any of them are low on health. So far I haven't gotten anyone lower than halfway down health wise.
Also I was having issues with the auto save thing. Out of nowhere my flash plug-in crashed when I was on like day 30 and when I reloaded the page I had to start all over again.

She's not quite useless. She's dumb as heck, but she does have luck on her side. When you send her against the guy with the gun, he just runs away in bewilderment. She's also good at breaking stuff.

Thats what I used them all for too. Well except Phil like I mentioned before he was a backup for the other 3 if they were low on health and couldn't really afford to fight. Though when it came to those fat zombies I used Rodney when I started coming in contact with them because I thought he would be a good choice for that til I accidentally clicked Sydney instead and decided to just use her when it came to those.

Somewhere around the 100 kills mark. Skinless turns into doggy dishes, which attracts the dog <3 You have to kill 1 skinless BEFORE it turns into a doggy dish.
