I think it actually varies.

Some users have tried their absolute best to get all the orbs and to get that medal and have failed, while others haven't even tried and got it by accident.

My guess is you died a TON and kept getting the orbs whenever you respawned.

I also think the number of orbs required isn't in stone, someone said earlier it takes around 100 orbs to get the medal, but I just got the medal and it took around 350 orbs.

This needs to be investigated further.

Also any users who get the medal "Introduction" after the "Don't skip em" medal is clearly cheating, as the introduction movie, along with all the other cut scenes, are required to get the Don't skip em medal.

Thought i'd point that out, as Josh probably wants to catch as many cheaters and/or hackers as possible.

As I said my earlier post, it will be damn near impossible to hack this. the SOL file is just a session keeper, ergo- medals aren't saved locally which is why the medals menu is blank when you go back into the game and all those questions I had and bla bla whatever else I typed in that last post I don't feel like typing it all again cut myself cooking friggit.

Sweet new games, sadly I fucked up on a level and got stuck because I missed a wall with a special.

Starting over again....

Huh, well that explains why I got the medal BEFORE I got all the orbs. The medal description says that I have to get all the orbs in the game to get it.

I kept on dying and collecting orbs over and over untill I passed the level and thats how it happened I guess.

It reads our IP's, Yeah? So If I close the game after beating it and collecting around 200 Orbs, Does that mean when I re-open it at a later date it will be on 200? Or will it start at Zero and I need to leave the game open? Because, I beat the game first time, But wouldn't have got 300+ Orbs.

games are saved to your computer, not by IP, but this game doesn't even save your progress, to my knowledge (except maybe the music and concept art)

I got orb hunter without a hitch - meaning just get every single orb in the game. Dieing on a level meant I went to re-collect that level's orbs before exiting. And yes, its possible. I didn't count the number of orbs I had but the medal activated right when I collected the last one before the final boss.

HAHA yes I was finally able to get Red Moon Deity. That was a bitch to get and I nearly died at the final boss because of carelessness.

A tip for the bosses, I found that you can just hold z in the corner and you could damage them a lot as they can't attack you because you are attacking too fast. Although special attacks render them temporarily invulnerable. It works best for the half way boss as his special is easy to dodge. If you use that with the final boss prepare to get hit.

Also has anyone else gotten Red Mood Deity.

No. The only thing the SOL file (where some flash games choose to store certain data) saves is a session ID. Nothing else. So I'm glad, this is one they can't hack. <3 Just like Alkie Kong 2, no SOL file there at all. Muahahhaha, suck on it, cheetrz.

No, if you shut it off(And I think if you chose to quit to menu when you die) you will lose all your orbs.

You must collect 350+ orbs in one game, how many times you die doesn't matter as long as it is all on one game and you don't quit to menu.

While Wylo's away, I need help from people who are experts at RM.
I'm at the part where, after you pass the tilting rocks, you stand on this ledge that passes you down about 6 healing red orbs.
To the right of you I think I can see the end-level portal.
For the life of me, I cannot get to the wall below it, to double-jump to the left wall in order to finally wall-jump off the left wall to the portal location.

You know what I'm referring to? This part...
I've tried walking off, falling a bit, and trying to jump, but I can't jump.
I've tried jumping a tiny bit right at the edge, then double-jumping to reach the right wall but I always end up DIRECTLY under it. Driving me mad.

Disregard that entire last post. I'm stuck here. I can't get to that tunnel to the right in order to wall-jump my way to happiness.
I swear I won't flood like this again. xD

when i said 100 i also said (i think), i was not counting and 100 seemed appropriate as my estimate.

When I replayed the game and got to the tutorial part where you have to smash the wall with the special I was like: "OMG LOL!? HOW STUPID CAN YOU BE??"
