Hacsev...lol for not reading anything from the last two pages. We BELIEVE that currently our points received for FUi2 and HoverBot arena have been removed. The Medals are still visible on our user profiles.

Well, how far was it that people were postulating what would happen if a game got its medals removed yet people had earned some/all of the medals? Just two games, and yes-- FUI2 was 'removed'. Just a few things remain to be fixed.

We know now, I believe. Goldfish has some work to do. :) I'm sure he's on it now, since we had errors earlier, staff has to be doing 'stuff' right now.

As I eluded to at the start of this post, we have a LOT of new stuff in the pipeline so addressing every minor issue with the medals may take some time, but know that the way things are set... if you unlock a medal and do not get points for it... you still have the medal linked to your acount and on the next score sync, your points should reflect that.

It might be the "Memories" medal from Time Cufk. That was worth 10 points, and was deleted from the game. It would make sense with what PsychoGoldfish said.

Just to clear things up, for those that don't want to read PG's long ass post or don't understand things.

What is going on is that medals will show up on your page of medals even if they are not accounted in the point system. If a medal is not shown on the page of the submission, it has been marked as invalid by the staff, and thus is not accounted for in the POINTS total that you have.

This was not the case before today when Josh made the changes, which is why he made the change, so that people didn't get a score for medals that were not valid.

Now since nglogs uses the page or API or whatever it is from your actual page of medals, it will show an inaccurate number of points, not your true score because it doesn't account for medals that have been "removed".

Yes. I use this thread to update my page. And everyone uses it to come up with tips, clues and strategies to newly released games which in turn helps create walkthroughs and guides.

If a medal is invalid and doesn't count to your score, it will not show up on the game's page.

It will show up on your own medal page though.

I've read PGs post twice now, but I still don't understand something.

I understand that medals that are deemed "Invalid" will show up on the medals page, but the points won't be added to your total medal points.

But will the actual medal still show up on the games page? I mean you can't remove Fears or Hovers because they were never there to begin with, but what about medals like shift4? will they be removed from the main page?

Also how are they going to create an algorithm to block people from getting both literate and illiterate? Once the user gets one, the other one won't add points to your total? Sounds tough.

Well, I'm going to make a post about a tip for a broken medal for Hover Bot Arena 2, since I freakin finished getting all the darn medals while I was supposed to do school work at school, not looking at this lovely BBS that I am more active in now. If you're stupid like me and upgraded everything to get the medal for full stats and need to make money, but don't want to play . . . (totally what I did), play the eleventh enemy challenge (light blue pentagonal robot), leave your game open. Check up on it about every two minutes, return to menu, repeat. The smallest amount of money I received was around 1700 with the highest around 7000, but the average earnings are around 2000-4000. You earn more with those robots than any other challenge when idling. I was able to pretty much catch up with my anime doing this, haha. I must note that I had max stats, so this idling strategy probably works best with max hp and defense. There's no strategy guide to the game, and making a million by idling (in short increments) is a strategy that normally won't be thought of, so . . . yeah. If you don't feel like playing, but want that broken medal, just idle with the light blue pentagonal robots. I'm done repeating myself without making any separations. Face chosen to emphasize how lazy I am.

I finished getting the medal at school, went home, then I went onto here to read the BBS. It's why I mentioned broken.

Oh and if you want to write up a long-ass tip, how about some structure, punctuation and paragraphing, that was so unreadable...

2) Play the eleventh enemy challenge with the light blue pentagonal robot.
3) Idle.
4) Check at least every two minutes.
5) Replay until you reach 1 million metal.

It's a lazy strategy for people who need to do other tasks who can still put in the time to check every two minutes or so. A medal is a medal, whether or not it's broken or counts for your score. It's still achievable. If you don't want to go for it, then don't go for it. Anyways, back to homework! =D

That was only a large point that I was trying to get across...
